Will be one of the most recommended natural dye books. This book is not inexpensive, but many of the less expensive, popular natural dye books with pretty covers, have information on dyeing with dubious berries and plants that give a fugitive dye. They are filled with pretty Instagram-worthy pictures and have the basics that you need, but this book is a great book that will help you learn more, and say....ahha! So, after reading the review of a woman that already knows quite a lot about natural dyeing, who said she'd already had 3 ahha moments while beginning to read the book.....I said, ok, I'm going to buy it, even with the hefty price. I only have had chance to glance at it, but even with a glance, I immediately read information that made me glad to have purchased it.Backs up knowledge with recipes Great book so far. I haven’t tested any recipes yet but I’m looking forward to doing so.Great writing,great images. Clear concise instructions,exactly what I have been looking for. Images of fabric swatches are sharp and accurately reproduced.
